He was first discovered as a talented entertainer and proficient coordinator in 2000 and 2001 while working and featuring in FUJI TV’s « SNAKE HUNTER 2 / Wareware wa chikyuujin da ! », hosted by WADA Akiko and Bakushou Mondai in PRIME TIME (GOLDEN TIME) on Friday evenings. He will then collaborate on different other shows for FUJI TV as a coordinator, and also appear in commercials (SOCCERWORLD CUP Sponsors), TV dramas and entertainment shows.

Music being his ultimate passion,he will return to composing and writing and release his Solo Project Afrikhan Rock through STUDIO BATSU. This Album will be followed by the AFRIKHAN ROCK TOUR in Europe and also in Japan: this Tour will end up being a formidable platform to learn and understand the specificity of the mechanisms of those different music markets.

From then on, he will set up an impressive network within the Japanese Rock scene and because of his “global- no boundaries- vision”, he will start working hard to add his knowledge of different artistic fields and cultures to created the foundation of what will be the today STUDIO BATSU. That is how he will work as a coordinator with Eve of Destiny, the band composed of the two legends HARUHIKO ASH (ex The ZOLGE) and KöZI (ex MALICE MIZER) during their tour in Europe.
Next, he will join the team of one of the most successful independent label in Japan, FREEWILL, and will contribute to the development and fame in Europe of DIR EN GREY and also KAGEROU, by working on various fields (Promotion, Marketing Strategy, Tour Management, Merchandising Conception) within the label .
Consequently, it’s not vain to say his work through this team largely permitted the emergence and the establishment of JROCK in Europe and particularly in France: you can now find in that part of the globe where this Music was totally unknown not a long time ago, JROCK CDs in popular music stores, you can watch JROCK videos on cable channels like MTV or even listen to this music on radios dedicated to ROCK, not to mention the live concerts of japanese bands taking place at a monthly rate and largely covered by Rock magazines!!!

Now, with this new market expanding, K.JOE is fulfilling his vision of globality with STUDIO BATSU, as he is enriched with his experience on the field: he has already offered his services to DESPAIRS RAY and various japanese independent labels (ROCK, ELECTRO, HIP HOP, HOUSE); he has also been consulted by many french and canadian indie labels and bands interested in the japanese music market and willing to collaborate with japanese artists...

And as said previously, STUDIO BATSU has expanded his expertise and network far beyond Music and Television: STUDIO BATSU has provided its services for Animation, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture projects.
This year again, STUDIO BATSU is determined to allow all these talented artists who don’t fit in the classical widespread commercial music business, to show their skills to the world in a very genuine way!!!
